Dr. Christopher Havens was raised in Wyoming and Montana.

He received his undergraduate education at the University of Wyoming, completing bachelor’s degrees in both Zoology and Physiology, and then went on to attend the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. He gained even more advanced skills by completing a General Practice Residency at the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine, which is an intensive 12-month postgraduate program dedicated to enhancing a dentist’s experience and confidence with providing care to the general public and to medically complex and special needs patients in both outpatient and hospital settings.

With over 10 years of practice experience, he utilizes his strong background in science and ongoing continuing education to enhance each patient’s oral health. Dr. Havens is passionate about offering effective, evidence-based treatment. Personable and compassionate, he loves to take the time to get to know his patients and understand their oral health goals. With the ability to utilize sedation dentistry, he is committed to providing care to those affected with dental anxiety.

Supported by the expert team at Yellowstone Family Dental, Dr. Havens can create a personalized treatment plan to address each of his patients unique needs.

When not serving his patients, Dr. Havens loves spending time hiking or cross-country skiing with his wife and three children.
