Get To Know Your New Billings, MT Dentist!

Dr. Ferguson was born and raised in Billings, Montana.  She attended Skyview High School where she excelled in both soccer and track & field, being voted as team captain on each of her teams.  She then went on to an all-women’s college in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, where she was recognized for her achievements in academics and athletics.  She earned her major in biochemistry with a minor in mathematics.

Dr. Ferguson has also experienced many dental treatments as a patient herself— having several dental surgeries growing up, and she even held an oral surgery assisting job here in Billings during her summers off from college.  Having these experiences has given her a greater perspective of what it’s like to be a patient and therefor made her even more empathetic to her patients’ needs and feelings.

Dr. Ferguson completed her doctor of dental surgery degree at the University of Minnesota where she was very involved with multiple student groups.  She is a strong believer in community outreach/philanthropy and spent all four years volunteering her time.  Upon graduation, she completed a one year hospital based residency program at the Minneapolis VA where she gained experience with medically complex patients, operating room surgeries, oral surgery, root canals, periodontics, implants and crowns.

Dr. Ferguson’s favorite areas of dentistry are with dentures, sleep apnea and patient’s with headaches, migraines and temporomandibular joint and muscles disorders (TMD’s). She received training in fabricating sleep apnea oral appliances and giving trigger point injections.

In her free time, Dr. Ferguson loves spending time at the gym pursuing a healthy lifestyle and with her friends and family outdoors at their cabin on the Stillwater fishing, floating and cliff jumping.
